Ponderosa is a beautiful stunning location that you are able to hire from us, situating between Broughton and Broughton Moor. Perfect for holding your Tipi, Marquee, Tent and any other interests. Ponderosa over looks the entire of the Lake District from Caldbeck, Keswick, Cockermouth, Wasdale, with a stunning Ponds with in the field & Woodlands on the grounds, it is your perfect location to celebrate your special day and make you guests feeling amazing by being outside looking onto the amazing view.

We are a family ran business and rent just over 300 acre of land here at Broughton Lodge for the last 6 years, with the bridleway running through either side of the land known as ‘Soddy Gap’.
Here I have my 300 ewes grazing on the pastures around the fields, and in summer we have 40 Cattle grazing (but don’t worry they won’t be near the wedding field! haha). I lamb at the end of March through to the end of April, with spring on the way this is a perfect opportunity to see the lambs enjoy the fresh sunshine whilst celebrating your special day.

I have 4 dogs, Mac, Patch, Wren & Skye. They’re my best friends! I am sure you will get to meet them too at some point!
